Freezer Slaw recipe
Freezer Slaw 1 med. head of cabbage 3 stems of celery 1/2 sweet pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 c. vinegar 1/2 c. water 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. mustard seed Slice cabbage thin, shred celery and pepper using the Quick Chef or a food processor. Add to cabbage (I also shred my cabbage). Salt and cover the bowl and let it sit for 1 hour. Drain. Mix together vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed in a saucepan. Boil for 1 minute. Cool and then pour over shredded cabbage mixture. Pour into airtight containers and freeze. They keep for up to 1 year.
