Switched up my workout..
and am gonna be hurtin tomorrow!! I have done my Elliptical every day for about a week now....so decided that I need to change things up a bit, and do my elliptical every other day, and on the inbetween days, do some kind of exercize video. Well today I picked my Cathe Frederick video of kick boxing .. and OMG....I could only do 8 min! Damn!! 8 Min!! WTH!! And I really am feeling the thigh, butt and ab burn as the day goes by!! Anyone ever tried her videos??? They are awsome..but she kicks your ass!!!

Nope! I bought a PS Fitness Game called Yourself! Fitness (you can buy it for PC too). It "-*test*-('")s" your fitness level and then sets you up on a program that uses at home fitness items (ball, stepbench, freeweights). I did it last year for a few weeks before I threw my back out and never got back to it but I sure did like it. As you progress through the levels it gives you diff music and settings. I think you start out with 3 settings (beach, fitness lounge, zen garden). It also monitors your heart rate and modifies your workout for different levels (strength, cardio, stretch, weightloss). Even though you may have weight loss as your primary goal it will put you through other programs for variety. Once I have a few weeks of elliptical under my belt I will add in the game again. ;) I know I will get bored LOL I also joined the college gym and will do that after classes on Mon/Wed. Finally, we are getting our membership back for the local hotel pool. They have an annual membership (which is cheaper than the city rec programs) and you get access to the sauna, whirlpool, indoor/outdoor pool and exercise room. I LOVE that we can go anytime between 6a-11p M-S not like the rec center which only has swimming Wed/Sat :( Phew! I know it sounds like a lot but if I don't have variety than I KNOW I will get bored LOL
